This Papua New Guinea coffee from the Ulya program offers a vibrant and layered cup, with notes of dried citrus, toffee, and cooked stone fruit. A bright, piquant acidity is balanced by a candy-like sweetness, delivering both structure and depth typical of high-elevation coffees from the Waghi Valley.

  • Sourced from over 600 smallholder farms surrounding the Ulya Wet Mill, this coffee reflects a deeply rooted agricultural tradition in the fertile Waghi Valley. After independence, land was returned to local families, many of whom now cultivate small “garden” farms and contribute carefully harvested cherry to the mill. Surrounded by mountains and rainforest, the region’s rich volcanic soils and strong community ties shape coffees that are both expressive of place and built on generations of knowledge and stewardship.
